Topic(s): God's Will, Relationships

I was reading on the subject of relationships and following God's will in seeking guidance because in too many cases we let our feelings and passions take control, and don't adhere to any advice. This is not what really made me think though, it was when she said that if we don't follow God's will and we are always trying to reach for things that God doesn't have for us, many of us are leaving vacant a place where we might have been a blessing. So my thought for today is that I need to always remember God has a plan for my life and I don't want to miss out on anything great He has for me because I think I know what I need best.

This is something I feel I need to work on. I think I have a hard time distinguishing between God's will and my own. Even when I can tell the difference I don't always listen. Especially when I really set my mind to doing something, its hard for me to change my mind and do it another way.

Now ain't that the truth!
You know what though ya'll... even though we often make the mistake of doing things our way...God always meets us at the end of that mistake and turns that mistake into a lesson of how we just made the road in that one spot a little longer and more painful than what He willed for us in the first place. I fall in that rut every now and then..but I ask God to remind me that His ways are better as He says in Jeremiah 29:11.
