Topic(s): God's Will

God gave us a choice as to whether we subject our will to Him or not. We make that decision every day. Will we SEEK His will? Will we ASK Him for wisdom? Will we DO what He says? God's will is the way we choose to live each day of our lives.

Sometimes it seems like many SEEK and ASK but do not DO when the ANSWER comes, but I must keep praying...

"God's will is the way we choose to live each day of our lives." I don't understand what you mean by this.

And I agree with Tim. When I don't have any idea what to do about something I find it easier to do what God tells me, but if I already think I know what to do its hard for me to even hear God's voice, and even then I usually do what I think is best, not what I think God tells me.

I actually copied that from a little devotional that I had when I was talking to you. However I think what it might be trying to say is that God has a perfect will for us. And if we daily choose to follow his will we will walk in that path and receive all of what He had for us. On the other hand God also has a PERMISSIVE will... in that we don't always choose to follow his will, but he can bring good out of any situation and even though we might take a few wrong turns it doesn't mean that he no longer has a plan for our lives.

This is good stuff. Indeed we ought to exercise faith and trust in seeking God's will for our lives. When it comes it shall be exactly what we needed on the bases of God's plan of need for us.
