Daniel was a man of God,"It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom," Daniel was above the presidents and princes. Because of this the presidents and princes tried to find fault against Daniel. The only fault they found was against his God. So they went to the king and had a decree sign that said,"No one can worship any God except the king for 30 days, if one do they will be cast into the lions den. Daniel still was faithful to God and pray 3 times a day. When the presidents and princes saw this they tood the king and the king cast Daniel in the lions dens, and God deliver den for the lions den. This story tells me that we must be faithful to God, even if it may cause us are life. God will always be faith to us. In the book of James, James talks about drawing nigh to God and he will Draw nigh to you that is what we must do.
